If the Chinese are good at one thing (besides wall building) its piracy! Recently, images and videos have surfaced of the strangely familiar, Chintendo Vii. When you don’t have any silly patent laws to abide by, why not cash in by making a cheap knockoff of a video game system that has sold 13 million units. With games like Fry Egg, Bird Knight, and Catch Fish, whats stopping this cheaper alternative from becoming as popular as its predecessor, and how long before we see Wal-Mart selling these for $24.95? Finally someone has found a quick way to beat Halo 3. The folks at Will It Blend? have run some tests on the game, and you may be surprised with the results. Master Chief blends like butter!

When I heard they were doing a Speed Racer movie I really couldn’t care less, I just rolled my eyes thinking it was just another lame remake of a stale franchise. Then I heard the Wachowski Brothers were involved and it piqued my interest slightly. Now that I’ve seen the trailer, I’m fully aboard the bandwagon. The trailer is one of the most visually stunning things I’ve seen since the Matrix. Watch the short preview and tell me if you don’t agree.

Nightwish is coming to St. Louis! I was considering traveling to Chicago in October to see them, so needless to say since they’re going to be at Pop’s, my tickets are on the way.

One of my favorite songs to play in Rock Band is When You were Young by the Killers. Coincidently they have a new video out where they perform with legendary Lou Reed. This team-up results in a very brooding and melodic compilation. I just keep hoping for that Arcade Fire download pack, but I’d settle for Linkin Park if I could get it!

The #1 fighter in the world is making his first appearance since March on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately for his Americans fans, it will be in Japan. Thankfully Mark Cuban and his HD Net has stepped up to the plate and will be airing the fight! Now I just need to get an HD TV and HD Net.
